This is perhaps the “quickest” chicken dish I have made in some time. Somehow, on weekends, we seem too have much less time on our hands than on regular working days since we are too busy feeling lazy. At the end of the day, therefore, it’s these “quickies” that come in handy.
It’s also easy to make.
Take one medium-sized chicken cut into small pieces. Fry it in handful of finely-chopped ginger, garlic and whole red chilli’s over a low flame until it starts to turn brown. Add salt, a little black pepper and a pinch of red chilli powder. Also add four coarsely-chopped medium-sized onions and stir. Put in a few tablespoons of water and cover for a few minutes. Chicken is normally tender in around 15 minutes.
Serve with roti (flatbread) or naan after garnishing with sliced red Jalapeño peppers.
