Paneer veggie shami kebab

20141110_192910Once again, an innovative dish, simple to make and easy on the stomach.
Using just a couple of tablespoons oil, it is also as healthy as can be.
Take 250 grams cottage cheese (paneer) and powder it. Boil a medium-sized potato and add to the cheese. Also add a handful of boiled vegetables (green peas, carrot, two leaves of spinach, beans and cabbage).
Mix well with a teaspoon of red chilli powder, a teaspoon of ginger garlic paste, two tablespoons dried fenugreek leaves and a salt to taste. Shape into round or oval shapes and grill for 15-20 minutes on 180 degrees F. The shami kabab is ready!20141110_193346
In a pan, take a handful of green peas, a teaspoon of tomato puree, half teaspoon ginger garlic paste, a pinch each of red chilli powder and turmeric powder and salt to taste. Lightly fry this in one to two tablespoons oil for five minutes, then add a cup of water. Cover and cook for another five minutes.
Later, pour this green peas curry over the baked shami kabab.
Garnish, if required, with coriander leaves. Serve with bread, or chapati!
