These are some pictures of what happened when I tried making pizza this evening.
Yes, it did go horribly wrong – the oven timing went awry – but we ate it anyway and so did Tyson, who had the leftover ‘ring’.
Of course, there were a couple of pizza base left over so I made these all over again – and this time it was right – and delicious!
This is how it went:
Finely chop a green bell pepper and an onion. Shred half a kilo of boneless chicken and sauté on a low flame after marinating it in red chilli pepper and olive oil. Mix the chopped bell pepper and onion mix and cook for two to three minutes. Also add some red pickled jalapeño peppers.
Spread the mixture over the pizza base after pasting pizza sauce on it, sprinkle mozarella cheese on it and shove into an oven at 180 degrees for five minutes.
Take care, any more than five minutes and it goes wrong – as it did this evening.
But when it goes right – as it did later – its great!
