This is a really quick-fix meal and there’s nothing fresh about it!
The green peas are frozen, the mash comes in a packet (just add water and butter) and the fries (wedges) are from the freezer as well. The buns, of course, are from the neighbourhood bakery! And, oh yes, the gravy crystals are also in a cardboard box.
We do have these “cheating days” once in a while when we eat “just anything” – healthy or not! That (sometimes) includes fast food or fat rich concoctions from the Pakistani restaurant across the street.
Well, it’s food, and it fills the stomach. And it’s tasty!
Who cares about health, anyway?
